NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing

The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) develop essential thinking and study skills, not only within the computing domain, but also within the context of business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. The qualification will allow students to understand and enter the computing profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the skills to a range of computing-related functions. The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. The qualification makes up the first year of a Computing/ IT degree pathway. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to embark on NCC Education’s Level 5 Diploma in Computing, which is equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor’s degree, transfer to a university or pursue a career in the IT industry.

Eligibility and Entry Requirement

Age Requirement: At least 17 years old

Academic Requirement: NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES); OR NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC); OR 2 Passes at GCE ‘A’ Level Pass or equivalent, or an appropriate School Leavers’ certificate deemed to be of a similar level. Mature Candidates: At least 8 years of work experience and 30 years.

English Language Requirement: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 5.5 or equivalent.
